Little Hen Rescue, a UK based based group give shelter to chickens who escape their cruel fate and help these hens to find a new and happier life. The group works together with farmers to provide chickens another option to slaughter. Battery hens generally come out of the farms bald and underweight due to years of mistreatment. Monkton Elm Garden and Pet Centre provides knitted sweaters to these featherless hens to make them warm and comfortable.
