Recyled Plastic Island

A futuristic island that will be made from recycled plastics.

     
         Dutch architects have came up with an idea of creating an island in the middle of a sea which will only consist recycled plastic materials.  The project, officially known as "Recycled Island", is a part of study that will focus on ever growing slands of trash in the world’s oceans. The project involves cleaning a large amount of trash and make create a non-polluting and resourceful island where residents can spend a healthy way of life. The proposed island will be created in the North Pacific Gyre between Hawaii and California because of available materials which will cut transportation costs. Once finished, the island would be about the size of Hawaii.
