Steampunk Insects

These amazing steampunk insects are designed by artist Mike Libby, who makes highly detailed sculptures, models, collages and drawings. His unique insect artworks can be seen at the Insect Lab. Mike normally collects non-endagered high quality specimens from all around the world and outfits them with tiny mechanical devices. He uses tiny parts antique pocketwatches, wristwatches, sewing machines, typewriters and electrical components. At the Insect lab you can find mechanised grasshoppers , ladybugs, butterflies, beetles and more, which are manually adorned and combine the nature with technology. Enjoy more inside.
