The dancing robot(video)

Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology has unveiled HRP-4C or Divabot at an exhibition in Tokyo, which is a  breakthrough in robotic technology. Divabot has a realistic human face with the ability to move and sing. The great feature of Divabot is that it can be controlled just with the use of a mouse. The institute has developed a special software which can calculate the expected shocks of the robot’s movement and recorded every move of a real singer which were mapped onto Divabot that enables to mimic. The researchers have also used a special technology Vocawatcher for the robot’s facial expressions, which analyses the natural expressions of a person.
