World's largest omlette

                                                              

On World Egg Day, 50 cooks and 10 chefs made the world's largest omlette which was 10 metres in diameter. More than 100,000 eggs, 432 litre of oil were needed to cook the larger then life dish omlette. The omlette weighed 4.4 tons and broke a previous world record. The omlette was later served to more than thousand of people who attended the event. Turkish Egg Producers Association organised the event in an attempt to promote eggs as a healthy food source.
