Miniature horse as a guide

A blind muslim student, named Mona Ramouni, uses a miniature horse instead of a dog to guide her. 28 year old psychology student had to buy a miniature guide horse  because her strictly religious parents consider dogs as unclean. The 2 ft 6 inches tall horse 'Cali' now guides Mona to get out of vehicle, move through crowds and even attends seminar at Michigan State University.

Mona Ramouni lost her sight shortly after premature birth. Mona said that Cali has completely changed her life and given back her confidence to overcome challenges. Cali lives in a large shed in her family's garden.
'More than even the independence, I found that Cali showed me that there are possibilities.' Mona added(Dailymail).
