Giant Lego Chessboard
Steve Hassenplug, a programmer from Indiana, has designed a giant lego chessboard. Inspired from the first Harry Potter movie's the magic chessboard and eight-foot-high knights. Steve together with his friends designed and built the magical giant board from more than 100,000 Lego pieces. The chessboard and its pieces are fully controlled by a PC via Bluetooth.
The pieces are upto 2 feet tall and consist a motor and wheels enabling to control their moves. Another interesting feature of Steve's chessboard is that the rook fires a canonball.
