Sculptures Created from Recycled Speakers
The speaker sculptres created by German artist Benoy Aubrey are incredible artwork that pays tribute to some historical monuments. Such sculptures have been created for an art exhibition called Sound as a Medium of Art in Berlin, Germany. Thousands of recycled speakers and other electronics parts were welded together to replicate monuments such as, Delphi's Greek templates, the Berlin Wall and a 6th century fortress. The sculptures are not only visually impressive but also provide an opportunity to the visitors to interact with them. The sculptures produce sound and to hear them visitors can dial a special phone number.
