Record Breaking Roadworthy Minicar

The minicar designed by the students of the Automobile Engineering Course of Okayama Sanyo High School in Asakuchi, Japan, has set a new world record as the lowest roadworthy car. The legal road vehicle is powered by six batteries from CQ Motors. The vehicle measures 45.2cm and all the important parts of the car has been specially developed and designed at the school.

The mini car has smashed a previous record set in 2009 by Britain's Perry Watkins, who achieved the feat for building a car from Postam Pat children's ride.
