Giant Sponge Cake
A giant sponge cake was baked in the Australian town of Seiersberg to celebrate the city's coat of arms. The giant delicacy is expected to enter the Guinness World Record as the biggest sponge cake in the world.
At least 3,000 eggs, thousand kilos of flour, 500 kgs of fruit and gallons of milk were used for the sugary treat. It took three day to prepare and a local town hall was hired specially to bake the two and half ton tasty cake.
