Sunglasses Made Out of Plastic Waste from the Ocean

Sea2Sea Sunglasses is an eco-conscious brand from Barcelona, Spain and has secured agreements with over 20 ports in Catalonia which will allow them to collect tons of plastic waste from the ocean. Later they will be recycled into fashionable Italian-designed sunglasses.

It is estimated that more than 8 millions of plastic trash are released into the ocean every year and by the year 2050 oceans will contain more plastics than fish.

Sea2Sea's sustainable sunglasses are believed to lead a change and encourage consumers to understand that waste can be transformed into fashionable products. (Via)
