The Flintu Sidekick is a small recharging gadget using traditional batteries. The portable device fits into a keychain and uses traditional AA, C or D batteries.
The inventors, Evan Stuart and Luke Trevitt, designed the clever tiny gadget after having their smartphones die during a backpacking holiday. They managed to find a solution with wires and normal batteries. They realized that the concept can be transitioned into a workable device and designed a new version with many useful features including capable of storing 64GB of data and a built-in Li-on booster cell.
The Flintu Sidekick has raised more than $300,000 on Kickstarter.
