Starbucks NFC Payment Pens
Starbucks Japan has introduced for its coffee lovers a contactless pen system to make payments at any FeliCa-compatible POS terminal.
The Starbucks Touch is a sleek design pen inspired by a drip coffee machine. The NFC enabled pen uses coffee-colored brown ink.
Customers can buy the pen for 4,000 Yen (about $37) and includes a pre-loaded credit balance of 1,000 Yen (under $10).
Starbuck Touch: The Pen is one of the NFC enabled products released by the coffeehouse chain.
