Field Roast collaborated with chef Roy Choi to create Kogi Plant-Based Dog made from the new Field Roast Signature Stadium Dog.
SPC’s Greenleaf Foods and renowned chef Roy Choi are teaming up to introduce plant-based hot dogs to foodies all over Los Angeles.
The first-ever plant-based hot dog is double smoked using maple hardwood chips, topped with Choi’s signature Kogi salad, coriander, onion and lime, salsas roja, cape verde, bean, roasted sesame seeds, and melted Chao Creamery’s dairy-free cheese.
The Kogi plant-based hot dog is the first of many initiatives between Field Roast and Chef Choi. Last year in November Field Roast revealed a multi-year collaboration with Choi as part of a wider brand refresh, and the “Make Taste Happen” initiative, which seeks to inspire people to try new things and assist them to create, discover, and share new taste experiences.
