The Time Fast D8 Label Noir edition will be limited to five table clocks.
Don’t be confused because it is a table clock designed especially for classic car aficionados.
Swiss watch manufacturer L’Epée 1839 collaborated with Label Noir studio to create the limited edition version of the Time Fast D8 clock.
The premium timepiece was initially introduced in 2019 in six distinct colorways inspired by racing liveries. The Label Noir studio used a concealed matte black coating that fundamentally changed the look and feel of the clock. The splint, alloy, and escapement are all covered with a matt black ADLC (amorphous diamond-like carbon) coating.
The racecar-shaped table clock is just about 15 inches in length. The 8-day power reserve is provided by the internal manual winding 1855 MHD movement, which is placed on the driver’s seat.
You can set the time by turning the steering wheel counterclockwise. The hours and minutes are displayed on the sides of two stainless steel discs in the shape of the car’s racing number.
The Label Noir logo is made in yellow on the other side, which contrasts sharply with the black finish of the clock. The Time Fast D8 Label Noir edition will be limited to 5 pieces, each with a unique number, and will be priced at approximately US$35,000. (Via)
