Predator Freak is the world's first pair of all-vegan soccer shoes.
Sportswear brand Adidas and Stella McCartney and Manchester United's World Cup champion football player Paul Pogba teamed up to launch the first all-vegan football boots.
The Predator Freak limited edition neutral stud is the latest iteration of Adidas' classic Predator soccer shoes, but it blends McCartney's vegetarian and sustainable standards with Pogba's superior performance needs.
The limited-edition soccer shoes are inspired by the YouTube series The Huddle co-produced by Adidas, Stella McCartney, and Paul Pogba.
The vegan football shoes feature a distinct shape and a white Primeknit upper adorned with the classic leopard print and earth protection pattern. Adidas' Demonskin rubber studs, which have orange signals on the shoes, are adjusted by computer algorithms to increase ball control and swerve. The signature Adidas by Stella McCartney elements includes a creamy white finish, a gradient rainbow mirrored metal plate, and a heel logo—the first time this feature has appeared on soccer shoes.
The boots will be available on November 1st through the Adidas app and select shops. The vegan soccer sneakers will be available in two designs: Predator Freak P+ ($325) and P1 ($215). (Via)
