Porsche, the German automaker, is offering a one-of-a-kind camping experience for those who want to explore the vast German countryside at their leisure.
The Porsche Rooftop Camper Experience offers two packages to visit the thick Black Forest or the Rhine-Hesse wine area. Each package includes a rental all-electric Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo vehicle and a two-person rooftop sleeper.
The Black Forest package includes many adventures and a night's sleep inside the rooftop tent surrounded by Germany's undulating hills. Campers will be provided with food from on-site food trucks and restaurants throughout the trip.
The Rhine-Hesse trip is wine and food-focused. This package includes gourmet meals prepared by Michelin-starred chefs and restaurant owners. Travelers will sleep inside the rooftop tent amidst the vineyard.
Car Rooftop Camping Tour for the Rhine-Hesse Experience may be booked for May 31, while the Black Forest Experience can be reserved for May 17 or September 6.
The car rooftop camping tour costs $2,624 per person.
