Silver Chair Made from Rimowa Luggage Pieces
Lee Sisan's Neo Primitive chair is made of unusual materials.
The collaboration between designer Lee Sisan and RIMOWA has brought an elegant piece of furniture that explores the relationship between nature, objects, and humanity.
This elegant piece of furniture, dubbed 'Neo-Primitive,' is made of unusual materials and will be featured at the 'As Seen by' exhibition in South Korea.
It aims to breathe new life into old materials by producing a captivating atmosphere that alternates between natural and artificial.
'Neo-Primitive' is made out of casting aluminum branches and grooved aluminum sheets similar to those used for RIMOWA luggage.
The chair's legs are made of tree branches that have been covered in metal by sand casting. Aluminum sheets are welded together to produce a delicate interaction of conflicting shapes and textures on top of this organic skeleton.
It's a unique metal chair that stands 1.8 meters high and can be used for both functional and decorative purposes.
