Incredible Ink Insects


Artist Alex Konahin's amazing illustrations of insects are nature inspired. His detailed ink drawings of butterfly, bee and dragonfly are truly magnificent and seem to be captured with a microscope camera.

 Titled "Little Wings",  the series was created during his trip to the Netherlands where he took inspiration from the natural beauty of the countryside. Alex used black pens, India ink and fineliners to draw the stunning illustartions of the winged creatures.

A team of artists created a statue of a giant hedgehog to mark the launch of David Attenborough's TV series Natural Curosities. The massive sculpture is made of coconut fibres, willows and 2000 spines. The realistic giant spiny sculptures is exhibited in a London Park.
